ok I have had the new atv since day 1 and since then it never keeps the home sharing connection.. usually I have to unplug and restart and log off and log back in etc.... called apple and they told me to do a complete reboot on the atv, I did that and it didnt help.

now when I try to watch something I just get the spinning wheel and it never loads my library, I have actually went back to my old atv until I can figure out this issue, I don't normally start a thread, usually because I never really have any problems with my apple stuff, but I am at a loss with the new atv, any help would be appreciated

Does your computer from which you home share turn to sleep by any chance ? If so, make sure it stays awake when streaming to the Apple TV.
