I bought my first Apple TV yesterday, the 64GB 4K HDR. Connected it all up through my AV receiver to the TV. Panasonic 4K HDR TV and Marantz 4K HDR AV Receiver. Everything supports HDCP 2.2 and tested works fine playing 4K from Sky Q and 4K from Apple TV works fine too.

When I enable HDR and put Apple TV into 4K HDR mode that displays all the menus fine in HDR. My TV confirms it is receiving 2160p HDR signal. When I start playing Bloodline or any Netflix HDR title it swaps back to 2160p SDR. Also in the Netflix menus the programmes are only showing as 4K Ultra HD and no mention of being HDR...

I’ve tried plugging Apple TV directly into the TV and still no luck. Cables are high speed HDMI 2.0 so support everything.

Any help appreciated!

Same thing was happening to me. No mention of HDR or Dolby Vision at all until I started streaming a show which definitely supported it. Stranger Things season 1 wasn't in HDR but season 2 was and after I first played it, it updated to show the "VISION" symbol.

Try playing "Marvel The Punisher" a show which is definitely in HDR.

Thanks! Playing The Punisher now and although it only shows as Ultra HD 4K in Netflix menu, when it starts playing my TV confirms it is showing in 4K HDR.
[doublepost=1514573997][/doublepost]And now Netflix menus have updated to show the Dolby Vision logo!
