If sales are slow at the Apple stores I think I know why.

background:

I got my aTV from the apple store in Sacramento CA and really really like it.

While on a business trip to Memphis I was telling folks how well it works and how happy the wife is, etc.

I stream from a mini and have about 400 movies ripped (from my collection of 750+) and all is well as far as I'm concerned.

Well, one of the employees went to the apple store and there was no one there that actually knew about the aTV. He asked about streaming (from iTunes) and the employees actually said it can't do that but he should post to the mac forums to confirm..

It's not like they have that deep of a product line, that's just sad...
 
yea there is a local store around Dallas who hire idiots to work the floors. They'll take anyone who owns a Mac or just really likes them. I would go apply my self if it wasn't a 30min drive and I wasn't a poor college kid.
