ATV 3rd generation HomeKit service does not work for me with any devices I have (Elgato weather, doors, hue lamps etc).
ATV 4 with tvOS 9.1 HomeKit service works perfect with all devices. I can control and access them outside the wifi and bluetooth range.
ATV 4 with tvOS 9.2 beta HomeKit service does NOT work with any devices.
