So what will happen with an Apple TV if ISP's do manage to enforce bandwidth caps? I would like to get a ATV but my fear is that ISP's will get their way and cap bandwidth usage which I would think would kind of make the ATV useless except for streaming videos you already have from a computer.

I think the more companies like Apple that try to push the concept of always using downloaded material the more the IPS's are going to want to put a cap on bandwidth. Right now they have been having a hard time justifying it but they may get their way if everybody starts eating up oodles of bandwidth by watching videos.

Does anybody else see this as a possibility?

If they do, change your ISP...

There will always be someone providing unlimited downloads, and bandwidth keeps increasing.

I agree....

if they do place a cap, it will still be high just because streaming media is so common these days. the caps will be for people who are using p2p 24/7/365 sucking down 100's of GB of bandwidth a day.....
