ATV back to iTunes Library

I have song and music video's on ATV but not in iTunes library on iMac. How can I get them back into my iTunes library. I sent email to apple but they only let me re-download some and the ones I want the most are still on ATV.

How are they ONLY on ATV? Did you purchase them on ATV? They will transfer over when your computer syncs with ATV. To 'force' this without doing a true sync, just quit iTunes and restart it again.

I had ATV synced with itunes Library and then I had to have hard drive replaced on iMac. The back up of my Library did not have any of my purchases in it. So I contacted apple and they let me download some but said the others (most recently purchased and currently in iTunes top downloads) they advised were no longer available!!!! Now Itunes will not recognise ATV and I have all my music videos on ATV only.
