ATV & External DAC??

Hi All

Anyone using a dedicated external DAC connected to your hi-fi amp??

I currently use my CD player as the DAC, wondered if i should get a dedicated DAC for my ATV?

Any views on this subject??

Alternatively, a DACMagic from Cambridge Audio is specifically built for just this type of purpose.
