ATV - non stop issues

the ATV has been a headache for me from day one.

I've gotten over a lot of the issues, but now i have a new one.

The remote doesn't work.

Well, not true. I can control my Macbook with it just fine. And when i press a button on the remote, the Apple TV light flashes so it is getting a signal...but no response...nothin

sigh,

anyone ever heard or seen anything like this before? If i can't even control the thing, it is going to have to go in the trash...

Somehow my remote got 'unpaired' ......how i have no clue..


held down <- and Menu and now it's all good.
