ATV Plugged into Switch at entertainment center

I have 1 ethernet port at my entertainment center, but I need to plug in a xbox360, slingbox, ATV and soon a PS3.

I am just curious if the ATV has any fits or glitches when being plugged into a switch, which is then plugged into the routher?

The one I want is the Linksys EZXS55W EtherFast 10/100 5-Port Workgroup Switch, since my router is a Linksys. I've read that sometimes the ATV doesn't work correctly with a switch and I just want to be sure.

My ATV is connected to a switch (Netgear) in my LR, which connects to another switch (Dlink) downstairs in my wife's office, which connects to a switch (Linksys) in my office, which finally connects to a router (Linksys). The ATV, and everything else that's connected, works fine.

My setup is pretty similar (3 switches between ATV and router), and everything works fine: ATV and Airport Express connected to netgear gigabit switch (1) in 1st floor entertainment center; which is connected to a netgear gigabit switch (2) in basement, which is connected to netgear gigabit switch (3) in garage, which, finally, is connected to netgear rangemax router in second floor office.

It's amazing that when I built my house in 2005, I didn't foresee needing an ethernet port near my entertainment center. I initially had 8 ethernet ports wired into the house, and, in the last 2+ years, I've had to add 1 in the garage, 2 in the attic, 3 in the basement, and 1 on the first floor.
