Can Apple TV manage pairing with two remotes, or only one at a time ?

For example, could i use the macbook pro remote or the one that came with ATV. ?

By default it will work with an unlimited number of remotes. Pairing will cause it to ignore remotes other than the one it's paired with. If paired, the only way two remotes will work at the same time is if they have the same remote ID which is not likely (255 different ID's as I recall).

I use two remotes with mine. I have an old white one from a mini and the new aluminum one. Whichever one is closer
