Lately I have been having my DSL modem dropping it's connection to my ISP. The modem is unable to re-establish the connection unless I reboot it. If I don't, I get weird connection timeout errors. Verizon tech support has been unable to fix this problem.

However, when I unplugged my ATV2, the problem went away. I also noticed that when I rebooted my DSL modem, the activity light on the ATV2 came back on. When I plugged the ATV2 back in, the problem was back the very next day.

Is there something that ATV2 does to cause me to lose my connection to my ISP?

Anyone? I really love my ATV, and I want to use it but I can't if it's disrupting my internet connection. I tried turning the sleep timer to 'never', but this didn't fix it.

I know the atv2 knocks my router down when using the mirroring feature.
