I bought an apple tv2 tonight i love it so far but as far as xbmc goes I can use that on my xbox360 as well so can i do most of the same stuff on my xbox minus the airplay mirroring? cause i love everything else!!! appreciate the details!!! I cant get navi-x to work

I am not sure what you are asking but there are huge things the Xbox cannot do. No AirPlay, no iTunes media playing, no iCloud music streaming, no photo stream and the atv is quieter, uses less power and takes up less space.

That is not to say the Xbox is a bad media device it is fine I used before the atv. But if you have ios devices, iCloud, iTunes match and iTunes purchased content to me a jailbroken is everything the Xbox is and more.

What pissed me off about the Xbox and MS in general was the need to join Xbox live to get Hulu, Netflix and MLB apps on top of the cost of streaming. Utter bs IMHO and that was the end of Xbox being my media center.

I've had an xbox360, ps3 and atv2 hooked up on my LAN - the most seamless, and enjoyable, experience is with the atv2. As far as playinig media, there are few differences between the consoles and a jb'd atv, but the big difference is in the experience. The atv doesn't require a lenghty power-on, it has a remote instead of a big controller and it's a generally cleaner interface.

The power consumption alone is worth the price of an apple tv 2 vs Xbox 360. Not to mention the heat and fan noises.
