Alright guys here is my dilemma...
I won a Pogoplug Pro from my past job and have a 2 TB drive hooked in. Works great (most of the time). The only problem is I had to jailbreak my ATV2 to get XBMC, and do a little bit of tweaking of the codecs to get the .avi files to play through XBMC...
Or
I need to buy a new router (Airport Extreme, obviously), and could then just put that 2 TB on the new router, create a separate user account, point the directory to the network and then home share from that account. Reason why i would create a new directory is because I only want my music to be physically accounted for on my macbook's hard drive. Not my 100 + GB of movies.
Or do I just use the pogoplug and point the directory to that NAS'd pogoplug drive...
Or are there any better solutions? I know if i do the home sharing i will need to handbrake the movies to go .mp4 which is not a problem, but I would prefer to not have a jailbroken ATV2 (i think jailbreaking is overrated).
