ATV2 ship dates

Hi everyone, I ordered my new Apple TV on 9/28 and it shows an estimated ship date of 10/20. This seems a little far off. Does this seem right? The wait is killing me.

Demand is high right now. That shipping timeframe sounds normal. Might get it quicker by going into the store.

I ordered mine this morning and got the same ship date. So I think they create ship dates using a random BS generator.

Mine is intended as a Christmas gift, so I'm in no rush.....

Yeah go to Fry's if you have one in your area. My local Fry's had about 20 in stock this past weekend. BestBuy and Apple were both out.
