Hey guys, not sure how much help I can get here, but after a day of trying to fix this bugger thought I might get something!
SO! Basically was watching my ATV2 last night in the lounge. Decided to move it to the bedroom to finish watching (I have another power cord and HDMI there for it). This is a very common thing for me to do. Plug her into the TV, boots up, Apple logo, then turns off. Boots up, Apple logo, turns off. Rinse repeat.
Brought it back to lounge TV. Same deal.
Decide to restore, manage to find a Micro USB (why the hell doesnt it come with this if you need it is beyond me) from my Kindle, and get Error 9.
Try every port on computer, same deal.
Try doing the menu and down trick with power cord in, then menu/play pause to re mount it, same deal.
Try on my work windows laptop, get a different error! Try again, different error, try again, different error. Try downloading a version of it manually, doesn't get the sign off from apple and denies it.
FYI never been JB'd. Not under warranty, no Apple store in my state.
Any other ideas? Wont be buying a new one at this point since ATV3 is closely rumored. (or I'll get another product that works with a NAS!)
