Previously, I used my ATV2 with Netflix Canada, and now use a VPN with a Netflix U.S. account. I'm using a router with DD-WRT. Works great when watching Netflix U.S. on my computer.

With my ATV2, I'm getting a "You cannot watch Netflix from this location" error. StrongVPN's site confirms I'm broadcasting a U.S. IP address. I'm wondering if my ATV2 was configured at some point to show I'm not in the U.S. (I don't recall and don't see a setting), or if it's a remnant from when I was using the setup with Netflix Canada.

I've unplugged the ATV2 for a minute and plugged it back in, as I see that has worked with some... however the issue persists.

Any suggestions?

When i get that message it wont go away till i log off my netflix account and relog to it. So u could always try that if u havent yet

That did the trick... I didn't think to try that. Thanks very much!
