Morning all....
I have just purchased ATV3 and have a BT infinity BB connection (circa 60mb download) with wifi throughout the apartment. (have checked iStumbler and there is no-one else with my channel witihin range!)
Set up ATV3 fine, when first out of sleep, all icons present, can watch trailers etc and you tube and music/photos from the Mac but when I select movies from iTunes (downloaded programmes on the Mac) they play for 6 minutes and then the connection drops back to the main menu screen.
I then have 2 icons (for about 10 seconds) then the full menu reappears, i can go back into Computers, Movies and pick the programme again and it will allow me to resume and watch the entire programme without dropping out.
This happens every night when I go to watch programmes that are stored on the Mac,
Trying to watch iTunes festival concerts however, this drops out at 5 minutes watching (streaming content) and when I try to go back into the concert, it will resume at the same place but drops again after another 5 minutes.
WiFi signal showing good.
Disabled IPv6
Put ATV3 into the DMZ on the home hub but now taken that out as it didnt work
Dont have the option (due to layout) to hard wire the Mac or ATV3.
Going to try deleting the .plist files from iTunes on the Mac tonight and also try port forwarding to allow the ports as on previous forums/support.
Any other ideas please wider audience...!!!
Thanks
