I'm signed in to my Youtube account and half of my favorite videos are missing. I can see and watch them just fine on my iPhone using the Youtube app, and of course on my Macbook Pro. Is anyone else having this problem?

usually when youtube videos don't appear on the appletv it is either because they are not in the correct format or that the uploaded has opted out of syndication (meaning they can only be viewed on the youtube website).
If that was the case I shouldn't be able to watch them on my iPhone then. That's what has me so confused. The videos are still on the website AND I can watch them on the youtube.app on my iPhone, but they don't show up on my Apple TV.
It seems to be about viewing them on the TV. I'm having the same problem now, I thought I'd sit down and watch some music videos on youtube... nope... the annoying thing is it that it doesn't stop piracy it just means it takes a couple steps extra to import them as music videos into your itunes collection which actually encourages piracy rather than people watching the clip on youtube and perhaps buying the song on itunes.
I do not see the point in this particularly if I can watch it on my computer... its just censorship of content for the sake of it and ruins the point of having youtube except for watching stupid home movies and low definition content.

It may be that the videos you're trying to view have adverts attached to them? This can happen if they have commercial music on them and the rights holders have detected this. The problem is that Apple TV's implementation of YouTube does not support the display of adverts, whereas the new standalone YouTube app on the iPhone does.
