ATV4 11.2 beta - no surround sound

I updates to iOS11.2 beta last night, and now I’m not getting any surround sound signal. Seemingly just 2.1 stereo. Anybody else experiencing this? A restart didn’t rectify it.

It’s set to 5.1 in the audio settings.

Worked out that it’s now behaving right, in that before the ATV4 just output everything in surround sound. Now it detects the source and only outputs as 5.1 if available.
