Audacity app for iPad? Lets make one!

Would be really AMAZING in my opinion, I'd definately use it. I'd like to start work on such an app, but don't know where to begin? Anybody want to join in on an app that would be really popular?

It includes mac os code too. Not real sure how we can convert this program over to iPad, ideas?

Just a quick question, how do you get files in and out of this? Since the iPad doesn't have a central repository of files available to retrieve and save data, it might be a bit wierd.

hmm im not sure, wouldnt it save app data in the sandbox? Also thanks about looking into it in the SDK

Would love this app if you can make it! And people have played with the USB connector and it works with a usb-mic, so would be great to be able to do simple recording with your ipad!
