audio can't be heard on Zoom

im using my new 2019 13inch mbp...
When I enter Zoom meetings I can see and be seen, I can hear other participants but they can't hear me. I dont think Its not an issue with the zoom app.

I mean, the obvious thing to say here is "check all audio related settings both in System Preferences and Zoom"

Also check System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone - you may have to grant permission to Zoom to access the mic.
