I burned my first DVD home movie last night using imovie and idvd. Everything is great for the first 5 minutes, but then audio and video become slightly un-synced. It's just enough to be noticable and annoying. I can't notice it when I'm viewing through imovie either.

Does anybody have any ideas? I'm using imovie and idvd '04.

Thanks

sync

What sort of camera? Prosumer cameras like the GL2 for instance lack a PLL circuitry that locks the audio to the video to help prevent this. Unfortunately I do not think that iMovie has any compression settings for audio and video to play with like final cut. When the video and audio are compressed this can happen. Check top and tail of the timeline to see if it is out of sync on the edit and fix any sync problems manually. then play with the compression settings if possible.
