Audio input doesn't work - Mac Pro rev 1,1

Hello

I have a headset Razer Radioshark and when I plugs its two jacks in the audio input and output at the back of the computer. I can hear sound from the output, but input won't work. I've tried with a Plantronics headset, and I get the same problem. So I guess I can tell the audio input is broken, or can it be something else ? If it is broken, what can I do to fix it ?

I have a Mac Pro rev 1,1 with Mavericks

Using the Linein app (https://www.rogueamoeba.com/freebies/), try plugin an audio source in the input and see if you can hear it in the output.
If you can, then your input is working fine.

I've tried with the mic of an headset. When plugged with an usb adapter, the mic work. When I plug it in the audio input, the mic doesn't work. I ear nothing. If the audio input doesn't work, is there a way to fix it ?
