Running Sonoma (14.1.1) on an M3 iMac. Lately, the audio interface - Complete Audio 6 - is dropped after periods of sleep.
Unplugging it/plugging it back in usually fixes the issue.

You could simply disable sleep, and just set your monitor(s) to turn off after a period of inactivity. I do. Makes very little difference, especially on a modern power efficient mac like yours.

I agree with Ben above.

If the interface is USB... well, a device or drive "getting dropped" is all-to-common behavior on the Mac, and NOBODY has found an ironclad fix for it.

If I'm wrong about that, I'm sure someone will jump in and object...
