Audio Interface Not Showing up in Preferences?????

hi, I have have an issue where I can't get my presonus fire studio to show up in my sound preferences on my iMac (late 2012). It shows up when I do a system report but docent come up in audio midi setup or preferences. It connects perfectly to my MacBook Pro (late 2012).

What version of the OS are you running on the iMac?
And what version on the MBPro?
I'm wondering if there is some "small difference" in the iMac version of the OS vis-a-vis the MBPro version (a kext, perhaps?) that is causing this.

Does Presonus have any driver software?
I had one of the original Presonus "Fireboxes" some years back, but not lately.

If you keep "getting nowhere", I strongly suggest that you go to gearslutz.com and "read up" there. It's a site that is dedicated to audio and video, and the folks there are "gearheads", perhaps moreso than here. They may be able to offer suggestions.
