I seen similar issues reported but I don't know if this is the same one. So a year or so ago I bought one of the cheap tablet style devices to add carplay to my car. My car has bluetooth but not carplay. Its worked fine until I believe IOS 18. Now as expected when i'm play audio from my podcast app or other sources is plays through the cars bluetooth as expected.
What is messed up as soon as someone calls me or apple maps interrupts to give navigation directions it switches to the crappy speaker that this device has that is really hard to hear & others have trouble hearing me on a call too. Anyone know what that issues is here?
