Hello! I'm considering purchasing AirPods and a scenario popped in my head. When my wife and I travel, we like to watch movies on our Mac, and use a headphone splitter. If one of us was wearing AirPods, would it be possible we could both hear the audio, even if one of us had plugged in headphones. What about 2 sets of AirPods?

Probably a dumb question, and won't solely based my purchasing decision on this, but figured I'd ask... :) Thanks!!

I don't think that would work. I don't know of a way to force the mac to output to multiple devices at once.

There might be some third party software that would allow that?
