Hey guys,
I have just started ripping my dvd collection. I have ripped "Old School" and "Hitman" so far. But when I play "Hitman" on Apple TV their is a popping sound. I haven't changed anything on my Apple TV. So the presets are still in place. Below are my ripping specs. Also, I am ripping directly from the dvd using Handbrake.

Framerate: Same as source
Encoder: x264
Average Bit Rate: 2500
2 Pass encoding w/ turbo first pass
MP4 File
Codecs: AVC/H.264Video/AAC+AC3 Audio

Anybody? I changed the audio to the standard that doesn't include AC3. Its re-ripping 4 dvd's right now. Any clue as to why this would happen?

I occassionally getting a clicking/popping sound on some conversion but haven't figured out what caused it. Its mostly when converting from Tivo files.

I believe I have it fixed. For some reason my living room surround sound wasnt liking the old audio setting. But I changed it to default and its working right now. I have 11 movies ripping as we speak so hopefully I have fixed it!
