Aug21 update killed bluetooth

Recent update (21 aug) killed my bluetooth somehow. I have no clue. And I am mad.
The only thing — I didn't move my mackbook or even touched it (ext monitors + kbd + wacom + bluetooth mouse).
Rebooting doesn't help.
Anyone?

I had a similar, but not exact, issue. Boot into safe mode, check BT settings, reboot into normal mode. That simple action resolved my issue.

I also had the same issue with the last Yosemite Update (10.10.5) and only taking the plunge and installing the El Cap Beta fixed it. If the problem is back in El Cap too, I'm a little concerned about doing any updates now.

Noticed mine was also broken last night but haven't tried to troubleshoot... guess I will do that now before I actually need it
