I thought I was going crazy, but I noticed on two other computers that I had authorized Super Monkey Ball on. It is not updating when they clicked "Check For Updates" in itunes, and it wasn't even updating once I logged in and clicked "Check For Updates". The app needed to be deleted and re-downloaded to have the newest version. Also it will show and update on the phone but once downloaded tells you that you need to log in.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a work around? Has Apple already crippled app sharing?

No...only when/if needed.

I have over 50 apps in my iTunes account. At least 3 times a week some of them need updating. Twice since 2.0 and 7.7 came out i went to update and the update screen said I needed to use an authorized computer and they would not update but the little download number said 2 or 3 updates available. Finally re-authorized my account and they updated without problem. No deleting, did not have to re-download...fixed it. The next time was with 2.0.2 update and I had to re-authorize again.

It does not count against your authorized 5.

Also, recommend you do not purchase/update apps from the iPhone until 2.1 and 8.0 comes out. There is sync problems between iPhone purchased apps/upgrades and iTunes apps/upgrades. I use iTunes only and have not had an issue since using iTunes only and have not had an app crash or cause my iPhone to freeze. Just my opinion...take it for what its worth.

Good Luck
