Auto and persistent hotspot features

Can anyone attest whether the auto and persistent hotspot features work with macOS 10.15?

I’ve been waiting for this feature for sometime and it would be really nice to have my Mac connect to my iPhone’s hotspot automatically and persistently throughout sleeps, reboots, etc without losing connections.

No, you misunderstood. I know these features are added in iOS 13. It’s not clear however whether they work with macs or strictly iOS devices only.
