Have you figured this out? I'm having the same problem. It's driving me nuts, and every forum gives some version of "simply hold your finger in one place until the AF/AE shows up on your screen." uh... nope. Works that way in camera mode, but not in FB live.

Must be an Ipad issue. Switched to using an iPhone to stream and monitor with the Ipad. The auto focus is no longer an issue.
