Does anyone know of an App that AUTO-switches ON and OFF the iPhone on a set time like the Blackberry???

This is one useful function i wish is available on the iPhone:apple: from a ex-Blackberry user....

Apps cannot access that part of the iPhone, so if a feature like that comes to the iPhone, it would come directly from Apple in the form of a software update.

Dang. Looks like we need to keep each other updated when Apple decides....

It's a simple useful function and don't think we are asking a lot of :apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:.... oh well.

In the clock that comes on the ipod/iphone click timer you can make it auto sleep after a set amount of time...thats the best you can do that i have found

Tried that function in Clock, but it doesn't shut down the phone....

If it's off, it's off. No app could turn it on.

This would have to be added to the iPhone's firmware, and I'm pretty sure Apple won't do it. They consider the iPhone an always-on device.
