I never understand why Apple has never implemented a feature that Android has had for years. When the phone detects that your are driving, and you receive a text message, the phone will automatically text the party saying that you are currentlly driving and will text later. I would think this would be a safety thing that would prevent a lot of DWT. And I would think with the technology that is already on the iPhone, that this would be easy to implement.

No one really knows aside from perhaps someone at Apple.

How would the phone know you are driving and not riding? I take it upon myself to ignore my phone in the car but there are apps that will do this for you if you like.

Enable Siri and reply properly or as you wish, handsfree.

Maybe if you have maps guiding you this functionality could be auto enabled. I could see some people finding this useful.
