Autoanswer/ speakerphone while driving

Being a tightwad and also because of the credit crunch, I would like to use the iPhone to answer calls whilst driving hands-free without buying any accessories.

Is is possible to get the phone to autoanswer if someone calls (say after a set number of rings) and automatically switch to speakerphone mode so that I can safely take the call without touching the phone?

use the bundled earbuds, and place one bud in your ear while driving.

I don't like using ear buds (they're still in the box!).

Presumably, there isn't a setting/ mode/ app/ hack that would allow this?
