I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out why my AutoCAD drawings arent exporting the way I want them to.
Ideally I'd like to end up with a Vector quality (or high quality) pdf document on A1 paper with a 1:20 scale drawing on, with hatches and then ends of the lines to be flat not rounded.
What I seem to be getting no matter what I try and do is a PDF document at the right scale but issues with the quality.
- The ends of the lines seem to be rounded
- Some of the lines dont seem to meet up properly even though I am 100% sure everything is good in the drawing before exporting. - Workaround/ thinner line weights
- Only some of the hatching seems to export... I'm just using simple colour fills. - Answer/ The black didnt export, I changed the colour to 1,1,1 RGB
- The hatching is low quality and is clearly compressed instead of being a solid colour.
The annoying thing is we have to use AutoCAD for this and even though I have a perfect 3D model where I can get the exports in seconds, I'm not allowed (But I have for the orthographic exploded view
). Sketchup exports to scale, to PDF with vector quality in every way...
Also I need help asap... the tutor I asked basically sent me 3 emails in reply saying go away. -_- we haven't even had lessons on autocad!
