When typing I often see words underlined. These are words spelled correctly. If I tap on the underlined word it will usually show gibberish. I assume that means it corrected a word typed wrong and is showing what was originally typed. But why would someone want to see that? If it’s correcting as you’re typing who cares what it corrected so long as it gets the correction right? Is there a way to turn this off?

Sometimes I want to type some "code", not some "word". This feature helps me get back to what was *corrected*.

I suppose there are times when it is useful. Is there a way to turn it off without turning off autocorrect?
