It appears as though Autodesk may be discontinuing their popular Sketchbook MobileX, the 'light' version of their Sketchbook Mobile iPhone app.

The AppStore announced an update but the link is dead and people are reporting that the attempt to update is killing the installed app on their iPhones.

It also appears that the price for Sketchbook Mobile may be going up from $2.99 to $4.99 in the near future. The higher cost is/was on the Autodesk website this morning. There is also no mention of MobileX where before there was information on that incredible app.

I don't have much experience with the App Store and broken links so this could just be a computer problem but then again... It's a shame to drop an app and then claim to update people and break the installed versions if this is true. Another 'Kindle moment'? I'm not against a company making a profit but this isn't the way to go about it IMO.
