I've tried searching, but can't get my search down to a few words. Maybe you guys already have this answer...

I use my MacBook Pro (2018) in multiple locations with different external monitor configurations in each.
(In one workspace I use an ultra-ultra wide monitor with the computer in clamshell mode. In another I use the computer open with two attached external monitors)

In each place, as soon as I turn on the computer, I have to manually reconfigure all my apps to fit in the different spaces. I use the same apps in both places, just configured very differently. It doesn't take that long to reconfigure each time, but it feels like a real productivity slowdown. I use Magnet which easily snaps each window into place, but does not "remember" where they last were, or take into account a different monitor configuration.

Is there a Mac app that will, at the press of a button, launch a set of apps and configure them on the screen for me in predetermined ways? One button could be set to "workspace 1" and the other to "workspace 2" and so forth?

I have checked out Shortcuts, Alfred, and a few others and can't quite seem to find what I am looking for.

In case you're curious, I have attached a pic of each workspace. Same computer in both places.

As I haven’t tested them, I’m not sure if these windows management apps can do exactly what you need.

With AppleScript, and a lot of work :) , you can precisely move and resize any window.
