iPod Automatic Album Art On iPod?

Hey..For some reason most of the album art on my iPod just...went!
Im looking for an easy way to automaticly get it all back on (3000 songs)
But the problem lies in that I dont have any of that music in my iTunes library, Its just on my iPod..and I think the automatic album art inside iTunes only works for songs in your library?
Im on Windows btw.

You could recover the music on your iPod using a recovery program (or other method):

and then you have iTunes to find the album artwork for all of the songs and then reload them back onto your iPod.

Thats the first thing that came into my head, but i'd rather not do that with 20gb of music!

I had this problem, had to restore then had another problem, genius said it could be a slow hard drive failure so he replaced it on the spot

Sadly I don't think there really is another way to fix it, at least that I know of.
