Automatic Download Apple Music

So I'm currently trying apple music, i have had spotify for a few years now. On spotify whenever i add a song to my playlist because i have it checked as an offline playlist it automatically downloads the song to my device. Im wondering how i can do the same on apple music, i know that you can manually download a song after adding it but i want it so that the second i add a song to my music it automatically downloads the song without me having to do anything. Surely there is a way to set it up so it automatically downloads the song the second i add it. Thanks for any help you give me.

In my experience, when adding a song to a playlist in iTunes I have downloaded on my iOS device, it does download it for offline listening.

If you've made the playlist available offline when you add any new tracks to that playlist they will become available offline along with the rest of the playlist without you doing anything
