automatic transition didn't work?

I chose the option that not all my devices were compatible. According to Apple, after June 30th my account would be moved to iCloud and I'd still be able to access my mail on incompatible devices but would be able to access all the rest of iClouds features on the ones that were. My email is still working, so thats good but when I try to log in to iCloud.com it says my mobile me account needs to be converted. Wasn't that supposed to happen by itself?

Do you think its possible they're just not done yet? I don't want to end up loosing my stuff.

Sign in to your mobile me account and see if it prompts you to convert?

Personally, I opted to convert on my time, because waiting till the end, means that apple is doing it, I'd rather make sure everything got converted before the crush of support calls

Alright classic Apple web transitions. I chose the option months ago to that not my devices would be ready and it said I would be set. For giggles I logged on today, clicked the same "not all my devices are ready" and this time it went through and entirely different process with a "moving" progress bar etc. Now I can log into iCloud, but my email won't work on my incompatible mac. I know you can set it up manually as an IMAP, but I was really trying to avoid that.

EDIT: Nevermind, looks like it might be working now. i wish Apple would be a bit more communicative on how the process would work.

I also signed up for the mail only transition but it seems to not have happened. I can still access my email on all my devices but cannot sign into www.icloud.com as it wants me to migrate. Did anyone's email only migration happen today?

Kap91, is your email working with mail.app without having to set it up as an imap account?

and I also signed up for "mail only transition".....at the moment, my email is sending but not receiving in mail.app using snow leopard
