Is there an automator script or something similar that would add specific folders to the finder sidebar? I've been doing some searching, but nothing is coming up.

I think that if you automatically add folders to the sidebar based on some criteria, your sidebar will quickly become very full. Do you really need so many folders in your sidebar that manually adding them is too hard?

I work as a web developer and having my last few projects on the side bar is handy. I would obviously add some logic in there so it wouldn't add more than maybe 5. But having it done automatically would be awesome.

I think smart searches or tags would serve you well. Set up a smart search to show the most recently modified folders in your Web Development folder...something like that.
