Automatically Add to iTunes / Not Added (via XLD)

Using the latest version of XLD (forced to update since the 2014 version wouldn't play with High Sierra), occasionally a file or two or an entire album will not get added to iTunes despite my settings.

Anyone else come across this? Is it a bug in XLD, iTunes, or High Sierra? Any fixes?
