so the new feature under DISPLAYS in the settings app, u can enable it and the display will change brightness according to ambient light, i guess theres a light sensor or something, i personally DISABLED it, i dont want my display to always change its brightness, i have my brightness set to 1 bar less than half, this thing is BRIGHT ;)

how about u guys?

That's fine if you want to disable it, but what benefit is there in knowing what others choose to do? Their choices don't affect you at all.

Personally I always want my displays on 100% Brightness. So thats how it is over here.

I can;t imagine looking at my screen at full brightness.

I have it at 4 bars from darkest setting. Just a 1/4 of its brightness. (27")

neither am i lol, 100 percent brightness is like looking in a torch :p but in a very bright room 100 percent would be fine, my room isnt so bright though so..

I'm loving the ambient light sensor. I had done some work on an older iMac that didn't have the sensor and if the room got dark the screen practically burned my retinas out. :)

I'm also finding that the sensor is a lot subtler than it was on my previous macbook pro. I popped my thumb over the sensor on this one and watch the dial in the settings gradually drop. On the MBP, the settings jump quickly.

Are you a bat or something?
As colour loving person I NEED to have the light on at least 90% in order to see the full spectrum of the colours.
Also I couldn't imagine working or anything with a brightness lower than the half, just way too dark.
