Hi,

I'm using a pair of the 2nd generation Airpods Pro. Great device, usually no issues. However, I'm running into one now. For a few weeks I turned off the automatic switching between Mac and iPhone as I was sometimes getting annoyed with audio disappearing when I didn't mean to switch. However, I can't seem to turn it back on.

Every single guide I find claims that I can find a menu that contains the "Connect to this Mac" option, and that this needs to be set to Automatically. But it's just not a menu on my Mac. I can see it on the iPhone, and evidently I used to have the option a few weeks ago, but there isn't one now. The menu, in its entirety, is screenshotted below.

What am I missing here?

Thanks!

on your Mac, connect the AirPods, might have to use the Bluetooth menu to manually connect

Once connected, there will be an airpod icon in your menu bar, From that you can select airpod settings, or you can also go to the main settings app and scroll to the bottom on the categories list.

the settings are there.
