Click the check box that says "store in keychain" when you put in your Wifi WPA/WEP password, the box won't come up anymore.

hmmm, a question to tack on the end here...

I don't know why, but everytime that I turn my powerbook on it automatically finds and connects to my wireless internet (i'm on 10.3.9), whereas on my girlfriends mbp (latest tiger), she has to connect phisically. So where are the settings for this??? I cant find them in sys prefs and am a little lost?

I actually mislabeled the thread title. I meant the password when I first log into OS X (and when I switch between accounts).

Open System Prefs, go to Accounts. Click on Login Options at the bottom of the left side panel displaying the accounts. Tick the box to automatically log on as <whoever>.

...I *think*...

To prevent the initial password request, do as e mentioned above. However, I know of no way to not ask when switching users, nor do I see that as a good thing to do. Users with admin privileges should not have empty passwords, even if you trust everyone with physical access to the Mac, due to potential risks once you connect to a network.
