On my iPhone, in Settings -> Store I've enabled Automatic Downloads which has the explanation: "Automatically download new purchases (including free) made on other devices."

It works from iphone to iphone (using same app store id on both), but doesn't work when I make a purchase in iTunes (PC). The purchased app is not downloaded onto my iPhone.

So I take it an iTunes PC/Mac is not considered "another device"? Is that why this is not working? Or am I the only one with this issue?

Thanks!

Yes iTunes is set up correctly and it WILL download an app purchased on my iphone. What I'm saying is this doesn't work for the reverse scenario: purchase in iTunes -> automatically download to iphone.
