I've installed Apple's X11 from the Tiger install DVD. All works fine and my X11 apps run like a charm.
but i'd like to startup X11 when I login without appearing in the dock or giving my its menu bar. I use to manage this by placing this in prefs->accounts->login items, i checked the hide box and it ran fine. But after fooling around a bit i messed up, forcing me to reinstall the x11user.pkg. So i did, and marked the hide box again... but now it shows up in the dock en menu bar at login
I tried rebooting, checking and unchecking it a couple of times but nada. So any hints or tips what could be wrong? Or how to fix it?
I'm running 10.4.3 on a iBook 2005.
