Automatically turn down the volume when switching to Transparency mode

Is there an option on AirPods Pro to automatically turn the volume down when I switch to Transparency Mode? I‘ve seen that on other earbuds. When I switch to Transparency I often have to turn down the volume to hear more clearly when someone is speaking so something like that would be pretty useful.

There is no built-in option but you should able to accomplish this with a shortcut. It would have two actions: (1) Switch APMs to Transparency mode; (2) Set volume to [x]%. You could then speak the shortcut name after ‘Hey Siri’ and it should execute. You could also run it from a home screen widget or app icon.
